Dee Bond is the co-owner, with Neil Young, of NZAero, the manufacturers of the PAC-750,  the E-350 Expedition, and the CT-4 Airtrainer. (NZAero took over for Pacific Aerospace in 2021.)

Although she has a had a career as a chartered accountant in New Zealand, Dee's oustanding accomplishments are in the aviation field. 

She has been a Commercial Pilot for 35 years, logging over 4,800 hours total flight time, some 1800 of which as a Flight Instructor on single-engine, multi-engine, land and sea aircraft. For a while, she was CFI and Operations Manager for Auckland Aero Club at Ardmore.

Dee has represented New Zealand internationally in the sport of Precision and Rally Flying, ferried light aircraft across the Pacific to the USA and to England via Asia and the Middle East, and was an international Juror for the 2001 London to Sydney Air Race. She races aircraft in the annual Air Race Classic in USA, winning in 2017. Dee has also organised and participated in air races in New Zealand and Australia.

Currently the President of the New Zealand Precision and Rally Flying Association and an International Board Director of the Ninety-Nines Inc (the largest female pilot association in the world), Dee also represents the New Zealand Association of Women in Aviation (NZAWA) with the NZ Civil Aviation Authority at the New Zealand MET Symposiums and at the New Southern Skies Symposiums.

Dee is a founding member, Captain, and currently the Secretary for the New Zealand Catalina Preservation Society Inc and a trustee shareholder/director of The Catalina Company (NZ) Ltd. In fact, Dee is the only current female Catalina captain in the world.
